In a world were 76% of web content is being consumed by mobile phones, there is a need of a fluid and seamless mobile application. If we look at the statistics of mobile internet users in India we will observe that 51% of total users are in the age group of 18-24.
That's a incredible amount of youth users in the pool, who are these users and what kind of interest they share? Lets see what could be the different kind of user's use-cases available in this age group:
Educational Use-case: Majority of the users in this group are students, pursuing graduation, doing professional degree, doing masters, or preparing for their board-exams. Education is something which is everyone's basic need its not about luxury.
But how Phoenix can add value here as a technology company?
If we look at the educational system in India or most of the developing countries, we will realize that it is still using the traditional approaches. Phoenix as a technology company can empower learning by creating mobile experience on the go for the learners.
As part of the initiative we have already released "PAL Platform" a generic learning platform to offer mobile learning. Currently the PAL platform is focused more on programming skills, but by the end of the year the platform will adapt into to various categories including Photography, Music, Dance. The platform will also be dedicated to empower learning for the standard academic courses.
The PAL platform also need to mature enough to offer more incredible services which include online discussion forum, communication platform, global "MASH-UP" feed (A feature available for all users in PAL community to see/share best articles on learning), and more targeted user experience.
Employment Tracking Use-case:
Job Search is another basic need of youngsters in India, the Job search for freshers (who just came out of the college) is a nightmare. We need to work around a way where the job finding could be easy and trouble free. In the initiative to make Job search easy Phoenix has released a new Job Search Platform known as Jobber which is fully dedicated for finding Job in your city in an easy and convenient way.
